Marketplace policy

Placement support and refund terms.

These terms explain when LinkCheck’s one-year placement support begins, what it includes, how post-completion issues are reviewed, and when an unsuccessful delivery qualifies for a full refund.

Plain-language summary

A placement must be paid, placed, and verified before an order is completed. The one-year support period starts when the order is marked completed. If LinkCheck cannot deliver and verify the placement under the checkout terms, the order is refunded in full.

1. When the support period starts

The one-year placement support period begins on the date the Marketplace order is marked completed. An order reaches completed status only after payment is completed and the placed backlink has been verified.

2. What placement support includes

  • Connecting the completed placement to LinkCheck monitoring.
  • Monitoring the placed backlink during the active support period.
  • Reviewing supported status problems, including a link that becomes missing, returns an error, or cannot be checked normally.
  • Keeping the order, placement URL, verification state, and monitoring record connected for support review.

Placement support does not guarantee uninterrupted publication, search rankings, traffic, or recovery of a link after a publisher changes or removes it.

3. If a completed placement changes or disappears

Report the issue promptly through the order communication or account support channel and include the order and placement details. LinkCheck will review the monitored evidence and the circumstances of the order.

A post-completion change is reviewed individually. These terms do not promise an automatic replacement or automatic refund when a previously completed placement later changes or is removed.

4. Unsuccessful delivery and full refunds

An order qualifies as unsuccessful delivery when LinkCheck determines that it cannot place and verify the backlink described by the checkout order before completion. In that situation, the order is refunded in full.

LinkCheck initiates an approved refund through the original payment processor and payment method. The processor or card issuer controls when the refunded amount appears in the customer’s account.

5. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide an accurate, working target URL and an appropriate anchor preference.
  • Ensure the target page and requested content comply with LinkCheck’s content requirements and applicable law.
  • Review the delivered placement and report a problem with enough order information for LinkCheck to investigate.
  • Respond to reasonable requests for clarification needed to fulfill or review the order.

6. Order-specific checkout terms

The placement type, price, target URL, anchor preference, and included fulfillment work shown at checkout are part of the order. If an order-specific checkout term conflicts with this general page, LinkCheck will review the order using the more specific checkout record.
